Ron DeSantis Is Not A Normal Person...

But, you probably already knew that. However, if you look beyond his pompous, power-hungry wife and his Draconian machinations, Ron DeSantis is just not a normal person and I don't mean ideologically.

There is something deeply Sociopathic about this person that people are not picking up on like they should be. Political ideology and ascriptions to other more prominent political zealots, cult leaders and despots aside, his personality and physical verbal and nonverbal body language tells a darker, much more sinister story.

Let's start with the photo that should be a career-killer.

This is Ron, at a party, with High School kids…that he teaches. Inappropriate and downright creepy but totally on-brand for today's GOP.

This already establishes his lack of judgment and moral compass, this and the fact that his former students have gone on record about how touchy-feely he used to be, along with espousing racist context to stories of the Civil War should be damnable but, apparently no one cares about this.

Let's move on to his physical body language in a nonverbal sense.

This is just not a normal posture and there's something unevolved about how he's holding his hands but, because I wear one at work myself, it's a similar posture to someone wearing a bulletproof vest. They do leave your arms at a more open position but then the question would be, if he's so beloved, as he says he is, why does he need to wear one at all? Unless this is standard attire now, he's either received threats or expects them. Or, he just has a bizarre, unnatural stance, or, is wearing a binder to make himself look thinner, if that makes sense.

No, the man just stands like a Homunculus.

Eww. People…

Moving on to more verbal shit, this is not a guy who is comfortable, at all, with being around people. It's that, or, he internally detests the people he is around. His reticence in the photo above is almost palpable.

Governor Dahmer…

He appears lost, completely out his element, out of his depth, with people surrounding him, who look like they’re waiting for rectal exams, he’s a man who wants to be far, far away from here. Perhaps somewhere he can sip a room temperature glass of 44-year-old, Talisker’s scotch and loudly say the “N-Word”, but either way, if he can’t handle a few rectal exams at a Meet & Greet, how’s he going to fist fuck an entire country as President??

Which brings me to his actual verbal body language.

I HAVE NIPPLE SWEATIES! HahAhahhah!

By now, most people are familiar with this photo, as well as the video of it that has gone viral and it should go viral. How does one go from the intense look of profound discomfort, and even contempt, to riotous laughter that, when you watch it, is totally not appropriate as no one around him reacts anywhere remotely close to how he does?

And, this isn't the only time he's done this and in body language analysis, one thing doesn't mean anything but a series of those things means a lot and…well.

It's clear that he is out of his league. He lacks the ability to connect appropriately with people. Now, whether that's out of legitimate contempt for people or something anti-social on the level of Sociopathy remains to be seen but combined with his remorseless attitude and lack of empathy toward his own state's residents, I'd be inclined to think he hits other markers of a Sociopath as well.

And I'm actually on the fence about this because a growing part of me thinks he indeed might be more Psychopathic than Sociopathic. What hangs me up is that his behavior(s) seemingly don't lack strategic planning. He has no long term vision and is considerably more myopic than I originally thought but he doesn't seem impulsive about what he's doing.

However, there’s another part of me that thinks this might be more of a spectrum thing with someone, very close to him, pulling his strings.

1) Hunger for Power and Dominance.
Absolutely but this is a trait both Psychos and Socios possess.
2) Devious and/or Deceptive Tendencies.
A “wee bit” would be the understatement of the century.
3) Ruthless in their efforts to Get What They Want.
Check.
4) Hostile or Aggressive.
Sociopaths are more likely to hold racist, sexist, or misogynistic beliefs or have hostile and aggressive feelings towards both individuals and social groups and he has more than checked this box already, myriad times.
5) No Moral Compass or Limited Conscience.
I don't even need to comment on this one. Check.
6) Manipulative.
Uh-huh. Check.
7) Opportunistic.
Combine this with manipulation and you can really start to see a clear picture of a predator beginning to develop.
8) Emotional Detachment.
As I said above, he clearly does not possess the appropriate social skills for a 44 year old man.
9) Social Deviations.
Typically, Sociopaths give the finger to social norms, unspoken rules, etc., like cutting in line, half-truths, all the way up to actually violating literal rules, harming people and breaking other laws. See below...
10) Feeling Above the Law.
He's currently rewriting the Florida rule book to grant him total immunity and impunity and that takes strategic planning and doesn't really allow the Social Deviations box to be fully checked because Social Deviations can also be interpreted as a lack of impulse control, which going to high school parties with the high school students you teach would be a prime example of, and he does swim in those waters from time to time. Again, all of this seems contrived of his own accord.

Maybe someone is pulling the strings on this guy but even if they are, he knows about it and is 100% okay with it but all of his loose threads are pulled when he has to interact in public.

He has no bond or connection to people and probably has very few people in his life that he is bonded and/or connected with and that's also something that is common with Socios, whereas with Psychos, they tend to have zero bonds and/or connections. But, he very clearly, and flagrantly, possesses far too many Sociopathic traits to ignore and, personally speaking, how can anyone look at the current GOP frontrunners (DeSantis and Trump) and think either of these malevolent complexes of neuroses, psychoses and perversions is a viable candidate to lead this nation?

One is currently fighting a globally beloved giant in Disney, whose entire campaign platform might be "Hey! You're other option is Trump so, settle for me!" and the other is a civilly convicted sex abuser and defamer, whose entire company has been convicted of criminal tax fraud and who might be vigorously trying to collect an indictment in all 50 states, the territories and maybe even several uninhabited islands too.
